Sonoma State University's rare books, archives, and manuscript collections are housed within the Library's Special Collections and University Archives. We provide a vibrant, interactive place to conduct research, engage in classes using original sources, and view changing exhibitions. We commit to a concerted focus on voices, knowledge, and memory-making practices historically excluded from the archival record.
The Sonoma State University's digital collection at California Revealed consists of texts and moving images from the 1890s to the 1980s. The collection includes films of artists, airshows and soap box derby races, as well as pamphlets, brochures, and ephemera related to tourism, land development, and agriculture in Sonoma County.
