The Siskiyou County Museum opened its doors to the public on August 24, 1951 with its mission to collect, preserve, interpret and disseminate the history of Siskiyou County.
The Siskiyou Museum's digital collection at California Revealed consists of moving images and audio recordings from the 1930s to 1980s. The collection includes many films related to wildlife, gold mining, and the timber industry in Siskiyou County, as well as oral history interviews and presentations on local history.
