The San Lorenzo Valley Historical Society's mission is to preserve and share the history of the San Lorenzo Valley by collecting and exhibiting artifacts, gathering historical information, and providing education through the San Lorenzo Valley Museum and educational outreach programs. The San Lorenzo Valley Museum operates two galleries that house permanent and temporary exhibitions, one in Boulder Creek and one in Felton. Both are former church buildings listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
