Museo Eduardo Carrillo is an Artist Endowed Foundation devoted to the life and work of Mexican-American artist Eduardo Carrillo (1937-1997). Carrillo graduated from University of California-Los Angeles with a Bachelor of Arts and a master's in the early 1960s, and worked as a professor of art at the University of California-Santa Cruz (1972-1997). His 1979 mural Father Hidalgo in Front of the Church of Dolores is located in Olvera Street in downtown Los Angeles. Museo Eduardo Carrillo also spearheads the Califas Legacy Project, a public retrospective celebrating Chicano/a/x artists of the Central California Coast.
