The mission of the Gilb Museum of Arcadia Heritage is to collect, preserve and recognize Arcadia's heritage; to create a shared identity for a diverse community; and to celebrate the City's rich history with exhibits and educational programs that will encourage community involvement.
The Gilb Museum of Arcadia Heritage's digital collection at California Revealed consists of still images and text materials from the 1920s to the 1990s. The collection includes extensive documentation of the Arcadia Women's Club, such as meeting minutes, pressbooks, and ledgers. Other material includes scrapbooks and photo albums of California scenery; texts about California historic landmarks; and a 1948 letter from Richard Nixon.
