California State University, Monterey Bay’s Archives and Special Collections is home to the library's unique and original material related to the university, as well as the local history of neighboring communities and organizations.
The California State University, Monterey Bay’s digital collection at California Revealed consists of audio recordings from the 1950s and 1960s. The majority of the collection consists of interviews and speeches made by judges and politicians, related to subjects such as capital punishment, politics, Richard Nixon and more. Many of the recordings are drawn from the papers of California state senator and pioneering environmentalist Fred Farr.
