The Autry Museum of the American West’s Library and Archives holds unique, rare and significant primary and secondary resources focusing on the peoples and cultures of the American West. The collections contain rare books, serials, maps, photographs, artwork, sound recordings, and manuscript collections.
The Autry Museum’s digital collection at California Revealed consists of moving image and audio recordings, primarily oral histories with musicians like Chris Hillman (The Byrds, The Flying Burrito Brothers), Eddie Cletro, and Freddie Hart; Bonanza producer David Dortort; as well as a multipart program of interviews with Chicano artists and poets.
