Description
Bayard Stockton, the "Good Companions" program host, started his career as a Cold War spy for the CIA in post-WW II Europe. In the 1960s he worked as a foreign correspondent for Newsweek. He also authored three books. Stockton moved to Santa Barbara in 1980 where he got involved in the community. Over the years, he was known as a radio personality, a teacher, writer, lecturer, media hound, political watchdog, and staunch supporter of causes.
