Note in case: Earthquake -- Seismograph Joseph Bognuda conducted by David Anderson July 1977 & Ralph Mathes. Became interested in earthquakes as a child -- he lived near San Pablo Bay when the 1906 earthquake occurred. He had enough schooling to be able to run the machines. How they set the machines up. Mr Bognuda discovered ocean waves causing a disturbance on the seismograph. Newspaper articles about his discovery where he went to school.
