Note in box: Topic: Soviet-American Relations, Speaker: Dr. Paul E. Zinner, Associate Professor of Political Science at the university of Calif. at Davis. Before he came to California in 1961, Dr. Zinner taught at Columbia University in New York. He is the author of Documents on American Foreign Relations published annually from 1955 through 1959. His other contributions include a collection of documents on National Communism and Popular Revolt in Eastern Europe, and an interpretive essay on the revolution in Hungary. Dr. Zinner formerly was a research analyst for the Office of Strategic Services, and intelligence analyst for the Dept. of State and a staff member on the Council of Foreign Relations. His latest publication is Communist Strategy and Tactics in Czechoslovakia, 1918-48, 1963. He is a graduate of Harvard where he received his Ph.D. in 1953.
