Art talks Summer 1987. In 1987, Headlands’ art talks were presentations by visual artists, writers, performers, and other actively involved in creating work that addresses contemporary social and cultural issues. This tape of Bill Fontana was a discussion of the history and development of "Sound Sculpture Through the Golden Gate," a live acoustical portrait of the Golden Gate Bridge and the Farallones Islands installed at Headlands Art Center and the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art.
