Description
Following the 1906 earthquake and fires six Presentation Sisters moved to and began teaching classes in these temporary residences on Telegraph Hill in San Francisco. The residences included two private family homes and the Cooney House and Store located at 291 Union Street near Montgomery where the Sisters gathered with their pupils before classes began in the borrowed room on the first floor of the store.
