This photograph documents showcases early reference images for the "Panorama of the Valley of the Smokes" staged on the wall which will eventually hold the 360-degree canvas oil painting at the original Hollywood location of the Velaslavasay Panorama at 5553 Hollywood Boulevard, Los Angeles, California, 90028. Reference material for the project included postcards from the early 20th Century, 19th century archival historical images, newspaper woodcuts and contemporary photographs of the LA area and plants.
