Members of the Executive Association of Oakland visit Howard Baxter's mansion in Los Gatos for their annual outing. Members are shown arriving in automobiles, cooking and eating, relaxing, and participating in a wide variety of recreational activities, including croquet, poker, horseshoes, darts, tennis, and swimming.
Edward Howard Baxter was an automotive engineer and owner of Howard Baxter Automotive Service. He lived in Alameda, and was active in many clubs and civic organizations in both Alameda and Oakland. He spent summers at his home in Los Gatos before moving there permanently in 1943.
