Paul H. Kusuda was a young man when he and his family were incarcerated at Manzanar from their home in Los Angeles. He eventually was able to continue his college education at the University of Chicago. He went on to a career in social work in Wisconsin. Kusuda says his choice of life work was very much influenced by this time at Manzanar.
