Cover and article (Special S.P. Train Lends Aid to farmers - p. 6-7) from the April 1928 issue of the Southern Pacific Bulletin. A special 15-car demonstration train, the California Agriculture Special, sponsored by Southern Pacific and the Agricultural Extension Service of the State University, recently traveled through the Sacramento and San Joaquin Valleys. University and railroad staff traveled on board the train, speaking to people about various farming topics.
