San Diego, Calif. , Oct. 17 - The above photo shows North Island, shared by the Army and Navy as an air base, will be deserted by the Army Oct. 25 when the 19th Bambardment Group leaves for its new home at March Field, Riverside. View shows Navy quarters on North Island in the foreground with Army Barracks in middle foreground and on left. The Navy Air Forces will have exclusive use of the base in the future.
