On this tape, Glenn Anderson speaks about his 1966 campaign for re-election as Lieutenant Governor. Glenn Anderson is an American Politician and significant to the history of California as he served as the 37th Lieutenant Governor of California and also as a congressman for nearly 20 years. He was instrumental in establishing the democratic party in California and intimately involved in the California gubernatorial elections of 1962 [Brown vs. Nixon], as well as the contentious election of 1966 [Brown vs. Reagan], after Brown's popularity began to drop due to the civil disorders of the Watts Rebellions and the early anti-Vietnam War demonstrations at U.C. Berkeley.
