Description
Charles Vernon Cummins moved to Ontario in 1955. A pharmacist by training, Mr. Cummins served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and continued to serve in the Navy reserve for several years. Mr. Cummins moved to Ontario with his family when he purchased Gemmel Drug on Euclid Avenue. In this interview, Mr. Cummins discusses his career, his business and business practices, his family, his upbringing, and his involvement within the community and with the Ontario Motor Speedway. At the time of the interview, Mr. Cummins was serving as president of the speedway.
