Includes interviews of Regina Almaguer, Stephanie Anne Johnson, Paris Williams, Mary Jo, Don Hightower, and Karolyn van Putten. conducted as part of "Binding ties: the 16th street station," a site specific installation at The Southern Pacific Railroad Station, Oakland, California, commissioned by the by The City of Oakland Cultural Arts Division in 1991. It was created by Stephanie Anne Johnson who worked in collaboration with Paris Williams, Karolyn van Putten, and Michael Sydnor. The project included music and narratives that told the story of the former Southern Pacific Railroad workers.
